Inline skating will tone and build some muscle on your legs. If you do it a lot..yes it can bulk them up. Just do it on occasion. However, building muscle is not a bad thing...after all it will increase your metabolism and reduce your fat. You would have to do it every day to build signifcant mass and bulk.

Working out really depends on your body composition. In the past have you maintained your weight with only 2 days of cardio? If so, then you metabolic rate is high. If not, you would need to do more cardio.

I would suggest doing stationary bike and maybe some treadmill run/walk. This will burn calories and tone your legs up about 4-5 times a week. It won't require as much power as stair stepping or maybe even intense inline skating which would build more muscle. Try to do longer duration and moderate tension. Good luck.
Reply:hey hun...keep up the good work! im proud of ya! the reason your gaining weight ia cause your gaining muscle...it takes up less space the fat yet is more compacted so it weighs more...plus the more muscle you have the more weight or fat you will loose...love daisy

p.s. you will onlygain weight for a short period of time while your gainin'your new muscle...then you will start loosin' again
Reply:If youre trying to lose fat then eat healthier. Living an active lifestyle is worth it in so many ways.
Reply:yoga this stretches and strengthens the muscle making it lean rather than bulk. tips for yoga found here
Reply:If you are working out at a gym, be sure to use light weights, high reps, 3-4 different exercises and in sets of 4. My legs bulk up easy and this is the best routine for me. Sometimes working them out twice a week helps too.
Reply:What do you do to when you work out? and what is your diet?
