Use the 'Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" mnemonic device to start. That'd meant to help you remember the order of operations (Parentheses first, then Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and subtraction [in that order]). The first letters of the words in the sentences are the same and in tjhe same order.





Parentheses first, and also follow PEMDAS inside each set of parentheses. If you have a set inside a set, work on the inner set first.
