Size 13 recreational inline skates, where can I buy them online?

I'm a size 13 or 14 shoe-depending on the shoe. 13 is fit. I run in a size 13 shoe; size 14 shoe is a bit looser for just hanging out. I live in NY, if I can't find them online I'll have to go shopping in Manhattan...

As you have already seen, the size depends on how well the shoe fits the shape of your feet. Skates are the same way.


I have slightly wide feet so a narrow shoe or skate requires me to go to a larger size with leftover space at the toes.





If you buy them online, make sure you understand how to exchange them for a different size. You might have to go online since many stores don't carry them in stock in that large of a size.





I would recommend talking with the people from the Empire Skate Club (www.empireskate.org) or the National Skate Patrol (www.skatepatrol.org/) to see if they know of stores in New York (not necessarily NYC) that carry more than the minimal skates.





You want the skates to fit even better than your running shoes. They should fit snugly all around your feet without smashing your toes. You want them to become a part of your feet.
