Could aggressive inline skates be used to get around to places quickly?
Agressive skates are designed for the abuse they get and to make the agressive moves easier.
As part of that, they will never be as quick as rec skates for getting around.
However, they will still be much quicker than walking.
Reply:Any inline skate will get you where you are going faster than walking. Aggressive skates are usually wider and heavier than speed or recreational styles.
The downside to skating places is that shoes have to be carried on the trip - then the skates once you reach your destination. Aggressive skates often offer 'booties' that can be removed from the skate boot for indoor travel. Ugly - but they do count as shoes for the 'no shirt no shoes no service' deal.
